Spiritual Gifts are gifts that belong to The Holy Spirit. The primary activity of The Holy Spirit is the exultation of The Lord Jesus Christ. Thus, any preoccupation or fascination with the gifts is a movement away from Jesus, and this opens you up to the device of the devil.
