Sunday Meeting

Our Lord’s Day worship meeting commences at 9:30 a.m. with a teaching hour that edifies and equips the saints and focuses hearts on the things of Jesus Christ. Our pastors and teachers give an in-depth look at an array of topics and series subjects.

Sunday Service

At 10:30 a.m., we gather in worship with the sole purpose of meeting with the Lord Jesus Christ, and beholding and knowing our great God. It is our sincere aim that all of our practices be Christ-centered and in accordance with the Scriptures. Our worship meetings include the public reading of Scripture, corporate prayer, singing, a brief sermon for our children, and expositional and topical preaching. Additionally, we observe the Lord’s Supper the first Sunday of each month.

Men’s Bible Study

The men of Providence Chapel meet every other Sunday night for discussion of the sermons, exhortation, and sharpening through the scriptures and various books. This time in the Lord with the brethren begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Providence House. Any man is welcome to join us as we delve into the scriptures, a variety of solid reformed books,
and cover subjects such as church history, the Christian life, and other doctrinal topics .

Prayer Meeting

Prayer is foremost and primarily communion with God. We believe that the weekly prayer meeting is essential and an encouragement to our church family. This is a united time for voicing our praise to God, advancing the Kingdom of Christ, praying to our Sovereign Lord to magnify Himself in answering our requests to Him and sharing needs. We start out the evening with singing and a devotional, and spend the rest in earnest adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication. We currently have three
different prayer meetings each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Ladies Bible Study

Our ladies gather together every other Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. to encourage and stir one another up in love towards Christ and their families. We meet at 1521 Churchill Dr., Denton, TX 76209 for this fellowship time of singing and learning of the Lord. The women study through a variety of topics, and most recently worked through an examination of hospitality and Randy Alcorn’s book, Money, Possessions, and Eternity. Ladies, we’d love to have you come learn of Christ with us.

Friday Fellowship

The youth/young adults of Providence Chapel (13+) gather together the last Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (location varies) to behold God and enjoy rich fellowship with one another. The evening begins with a pizza dinner, then a time of admonishment and conversation with one of our pastors, worshipping through song, followed by
games/sports, and more wonderful fellowship.
