05 Proverbs 1:20-23 – Wisdom’s Generous Offer

This portion of Proverbs 1 is a rather beautiful call from Wisdom to all who will hear her and take heed to her instruction. Wisdom offers life, peace, joy, and hope to any who will have it. Wisdom doesn’t hide in some distant cave, but rather stands in the most public places of the city and lifts up her voice so that all can hear her cries. This passage shows us the great heart of God who reveals Himself to all men as Creator, as Wisdom, as God. The texts promotes real urgency, today is the day to take heed to Wisdom’s voice.
